Preface

'Bole', a master breeder in China during the time of Confucius, was well know for the producing thoroughbred horses. The world has seen many thoroughbreds. But a great master breeder only appears once in a long while.
I love nature and landscapes, hence my passion in painting landscape. I also enjoy the landscape paintings of historical Chinese painters. My style of painting came about through the creative use of traditional Chinese ink and brush effect to produce 'Contemporary Chinese Landscapes". This was made posible through the nurturing that took place under the encouragement and unique guidance of a great master and teacher.

Just another thought.... mountains and hills are rather plain, while flowers and trees are rich in colours. Thus the inclusion of trees and flowers to rock and hills in Chinese landscape paintings are necessary and a great idea.
